If you want a proposal that feels romantic, local, and beautifully low-key (but still very “Dubai”), the Abra Proposal is such a special choice. You’ll step onto a traditional UAE abra for a private ride through the waterways around Jumeirah Al Qasr, with stunning views all around you. The ride is officially about 20 minutes, but in real life it often lasts a little longer — the boat drivers are genuinely sweet and love to make the moment feel extra special. Your photographer will be there in a discreet way to capture the build-up, the knee-drop, and those first reactions — and after the “yes,” we’ll do a relaxed little boat photoshoot while you take it all in and enjoy the views together. And if you want to turn it into a full evening, it’s easy to top it off with dinner at one of the restaurants in the resort — or even a private dinner on the beach for just the two of you.

The way I like to plan this is simple: we pick the best timing (sunset is the favourite for a reason), we choose the backdrop/route you’d love most, and then your photographer stays discreet and ready for the exact second you go down on one knee. After the “yes,” we’ll do a relaxed little couple shoot on the yacht — nothing awkward, just gentle guidance and beautiful light. And if you want that extra “wow” when your partner steps on board, you can add styling like candles, flowers, a ‘Marry Me’ sign, bites, roses, and prosecco — or keep it super minimal and intimate.

If you want a proposal that feels bold, romantic, and genuinely high-end, the Heart Proposal is one of the most beautiful setups you can choose in Dubai. Our heart arch is one of the most premium heart setups in Dubai — it’s large, extremely detailed, and designed to look luxurious both in real life and in photos. Instead of a simple frame with a few flowers, this heart has three full layers of different flowers and roses, which gives it that full, rich look from every angle. In the centre, there’s a “Will you marry me” sign, so the moment feels clear, intentional, and perfectly framed. You can choose the heart in off-white for a soft, elegant vibe, or love-red for something more dramatic and passionate. For location, you can keep it budget-friendly too. A favourite free option is Jumeirah Public Beach with Burj Al Arab views — it looks amazing around golden hour. If you’d prefer a more private or exclusive spot, that’s possible as well. Instead, you walk up together and the setup is already there — cosy décor, soft styling, and a “this is not just a normal picnic” feeling from the first second. What makes this experience work so well is that you can stay fully in the moment. The styling, timing, and coordination are handled in advance, and your photographer knows exactly how to stay discreet while still capturing everything that matters: the walk-up, the nerves, the knee-drop, and those first reactions right after the “yes.” And then the best part: you can just stay. You’ll have two full hours to sit together, toast, laugh, and let it sink in — you’re engaged!
