The couple behind Travaya, photographers, travel lovers, and the kind of people who will happily set an alarm at 5 am for the perfect sunrise.
Photography has been part of our lives for years.
From weddings and engagements to growing families, surprise proposals and all the little moments in between, we’ve had the privilege of capturing so many different chapters of people’s lives.
And after years of photographing people’s stories, we started noticing something.
Some of the memories people talk about for years aren’t just the big milestones. They’re the trips they took together.
The first holiday as a family, the adventure that brought them closer, the city they fell in love with, or that one trip they’ll always remember.
And yet, so many of those moments never get properly captured.
We’ve travelled a lot ourselves, and we know how difficult it can be to find a photographer you love in a place you don’t know.
Where do you start? Who can you trust? And how do you find someone whose photos actually match your style?
We kept thinking: why isn’t this easier?
And that’s how Travaya was born.

We wanted to make it easier for people to find a photographer they genuinely love, wherever their travels take them.
But we didn’t want to create just another directory of photographers.
Every destination you find on Travaya is a place we’ve personally visited.
We’ve explored the streets, walked the routes, discovered the little corners worth photographing and experienced these places ourselves.
And we personally select the photographers we work with, because we believe finding the right person matters just as much as finding the right location.
