Decide What You Want the Photographs to Remember
Show your photographer in Dubai one or two reference images and explain what you like about them. The emotion, the skyline and the decor are separate parts of a photograph; identifying your favourite part is more useful than asking for an exact copy of someone else’s proposal.
Daylight, Dusk or City Lights?
Tell your photographer which look you prefer, then check what is possible within the slot confirmed for your date. A short booking may not cover every lighting stage. If you want to add a “Marry me” sign to your swing proposal, compare the CE LA VI proposal service and confirm the timing and setup before choosing your photographic brief.
Check the Background From the Proposal Point
Glass can create reflections, and nearby lighting or passing guests can change a composition. The photographer can assess the available angles within the venue’s rules. Keep the route and working space clear rather than adding decor that blocks the view.
Choose a Position That Shows the Reaction
The right position should feel natural and stay within the space you are allowed to use. Do not rely on the photographer being able to move through guests or cross the room during the question. A clear sightline agreed beforehand gives them a better chance of recording the reaction without interrupting it.
Prioritise the Proposal Within Your Confirmed Slot
Our Travaya package includes 15 edited photographs. We use the swing slot for the proposal, the first hug and a few portraits together, leaving room for you to take in what's just happened. The separate three-hour table reservation isn't an extension of your photography coverage.

Capture the Reaction Before Giving Directions
After the proposal, introduce the photographer and let your partner take a breath. When you are both ready, move into a short guided sequence. If you feel nervous in front of a camera, say so beforehand; simple prompts such as looking at each other or holding hands can feel more comfortable than a long set of formal poses.
A Short Portrait List After the Question
Share the list as priorities, not a guarantee that every frame will be possible. Light, the confirmed time and the approved working area all affect the final sequence. Ask the photographer which images to prioritise if time becomes tight.
Keep Flowers and Styling Clear of Faces
A meaningful detail can have its own photograph. It does not need to appear in every image. Agree any changes to the venue setup beforehand; do not assume decorations can be moved or added on the night.
Confirm Photographer Access Before the Evening
The official CE LA VI FAQ allows personal photography and states that tripods aren't permitted. We confirm the working arrangement for your professional photographer as part of the planning.
Our package costs AED 2,999 and includes 24 red roses, Veuve Clicquot Brut Champagne, a dessert with a “Congratulations” message, 15 minutes of exclusive swing-area use and 15 edited photographs. The table minimum spend of AED 500 per person is additional. A “Marry me” sign, candles and other styling are optional extras, including when they appear in the photographs on this page.
