Choose a few settings in Vatican City and the neighbouring part of Rome. The location views illustrate the colonnades, bridge, castle and Borgo Pio; the river portrait shows a family with St Peter’s dome behind them. We confirm a suitable route and any access requirements before the session.
Bernini’s columns give portraits rhythm, depth and patches of shade. We choose an accessible part of the square according to the day’s activities and security arrangements.
Water, trees and distant views towards St Peter’s bring space to the photographs. The exact viewpoint depends on the route; lower quays are included only when access and steps are suitable.
The castle’s rounded silhouette makes a distinctive background from nearby outdoor viewpoints in Rome. An exterior stop does not include entry to the castle or access to its terraces.

This street in Rome, near the Vatican, offers coloured façades and smaller-scale portraits. We work around residents, café terraces and passing visitors rather than expecting the neighbourhood to be empty.

An early session often means fewer visitors. Tell Travaya about your hotel location and the pace you prefer so the meeting time is realistic. Check the day’s ceremonies and access arrangements as well as sunrise; an early hour alone does not guarantee an empty square.
Choose the outdoor settings before arranging an interior visit afterwards. Access and any permission needed for the planned photography must still be confirmed. Museum tickets and church visits have their own rules and timing, so leave a buffer instead of using portrait time for queues.
Elegant outfits suit the warm stone and formal architecture, but the route also includes bridges, cobblestones and steps. Choose shoes you can comfortably walk in and bring shoulder and knee coverage if you plan to enter religious sites afterwards.
