A little piece of their Italian adventure

This couple were travelling through Italy, exploring one beautiful destination after another and arranging a photoshoot at each stop. For their couple photoshoot at Lake Como, we spent time in Villa Olmo’s gardens, along Como’s lakeside promenade and at Tempio Voltiano. It made a lovely little collection from this part of their trip: grand architecture, flower beds, leafy paths and plenty of those wonderful lake views.

Gardens and a grand villa to begin with

We started at Villa Olmo, where the pale facade and neatly shaped gardens gave us such a beautiful setting. Their outfits fitted right in: his light blue shirt picked up the colour of the water, while her cream playsuit looked lovely against the warm stone and greenery. There was room for wide photographs of the villa, closer portraits beneath the trees and a little time together on the garden paths.

Villa Olmo and its gardens were the first setting for their Como photographs.

A walk along the water

From the villa, we wandered along the lakeside promenade. The mountains, railings and old lamps gave the photographs a real sense of Como, with red and white flowers adding a cheerful splash of colour. We loved mixing the open views across the water with closer photographs of the two of them. It kept the lake part of the story while leaving space for those natural moments together.

One last stop at Tempio Voltiano

We ended the walk at Tempio Voltiano, with its stone steps, tall columns and green door. After the gardens and waterfront, the architecture added a different feel to the photographs, and a few black-and-white images bring out its lines beautifully. Together, these places made a varied reminder of their time at Lake Como and another lovely stop in their Italian adventure.
