1. Trocadéro and the Eiffel Tower
Early morning can be beautiful here, though other visitors may have the same alarm set. Nearby, Bir-Hakeim’s covered columns, the pretty buildings on Avenue de Camoëns and the river below Passerelle Debilly give the tower a different setting. There’s no need to collect every view. You might find one you love and happily stay a little longer. If a rather special question is part of your trip, our Paris proposal locations guide has more ideas.

2. The Louvre Courtyards
It’s fun to notice the smaller details once you’ve enjoyed the wide view. A lamp beneath an arch, warm light on the stone, another row of windows above you. There’s so much more here than the famous pyramid, and it makes a beautiful setting for photos of your own little Paris adventure. The Tuileries and Palais-Royal are nearby if you feel like carrying on. The courtyards have opening hours, and access can change for events or other closures. Check the Louvre’s current courtyard and garden hours when planning an early or late visit. A walk around the palace can be lovely without going into the museum itself.
3. The Tuileries Garden
Around you, people are walking, resting and making their own Paris memories. Children have paths to explore, and the tree-lined walks bring a softer, leafy feel to your photos. It’s a sweet place to enjoy with someone you love, or to spend a little time on your own. The garden sits right beside the Louvre, so a palace morning and a garden afternoon fit together beautifully. The garden’s opening hours change through the year. Check them along with the courtyard hours above if your plans start early or finish late.
4. Luxembourg Gardens
The Medici Fountain is a lovely little change of scene. Trees surround a long pool, with carved figures at the far end. After the big open view by the palace, this corner feels smaller and more tucked away. Both sides of the garden are beautiful in photos, whether your trip is a family holiday, time together or a little adventure of your own. Opening hours change with the seasons, and a photoshoot with a professional photographer needs permission from the Senate. We’ll check the arrangements before confirming a shoot here.

5. Montmartre’s Pretty Café Streets
But the fun isn’t only in finding the places you recognise. It’s the painted door that catches your eye, the next turn in the street and the thought of a coffee before going any further. Early mornings can be quieter, while later visits bring café tables and people chatting and exploring. There are hills, steps and uneven stone streets, so a shorter wander can be just as lovely. The best bit is having time to enjoy the area.

6. Palais-Royal and the Striped Columns
There’s a softer side to discover nearby, too. Pale columns and old lamps line the covered walks, with the garden just beyond. You can enjoy the famous stripes and then let the visit turn into a gentle garden wander. On a day full of big sights, that little change of pace feels rather nice. The covered walks can offer some shelter during a passing shower. For a booked session, we’ll talk through a rain plan with you; access to these shared spaces can change.

7. The Seine and Île Saint-Louis
Later in the day, lights begin to shine on the water, and the same walk can feel quite different. Even the wet stone after a shower has its charm. These are lovely settings for photos that bring back the feeling of your trip, as well as the place. Some lower paths have steps and sit close to the river; street-level views are a good option too. 8. Notre-Dame and the Latin Quarter
This is a good part of the city for a day with time for little stops. The Latin Quarter and nearby Saint-Germain have more café streets to enjoy, while Place Dauphine, on Île de la Cité, is a small square tucked between the buildings. Imagine a morning of exploring, a pause for coffee and another pretty view on the way back. You may come for the cathedral and leave with a favourite little corner of your own.

9. Pont Alexandre III
The views are worth a little extra time, too. From beside the river, the bridge’s gold details and the Eiffel Tower can share the same scene. Two Paris favourites together, with the water in front. It’s easy to see why people fall for this spot, especially when they’d love a few photos to remember a special trip together. Traffic uses the bridge as well, so its pavements and the riverside are the places to enjoy it.
10. Le Marais and Place des Vosges
Nearby Hôtel de Sully has another surprise: when the grounds are open, a passage through its courtyard and garden leads to Place des Vosges. Pale stone, neat greenery and a little doorway into the next part of your afternoon. Check the Hôtel de Sully visitor information before choosing that way through, as the grounds close on some holidays. Finding these smaller places is such a lovely part of being in Paris. A Little Paris Walk of Your Own
The Louvre, Tuileries and Palais-Royal sit near one another, so palace walls, garden paths and striped columns can become part of the same outing. Montmartre has enough little streets for a walk of its own. For a day by the water, the Seine, Île Saint-Louis and the streets near Notre-Dame give you plenty to look forward to. A coffee stop between places can be part of the fun too.

We’ll agree the time and meeting place and check the exact locations, any entry costs and any permission needed before confirming the plan. Being able to visit a garden or courtyard does not always mean a professional photoshoot is allowed there. A short walk through a place you love can leave you with such lovely memories.
