Photographs of their baby’s first months

This South American family made photographs together in Lisbon with their six-month-old baby. At Miradouro de Santa Luzia, the parents held their little one close among palms, a pergola and blue-and-white Portuguese tiles. Seated beside the palms, the parents kept their baby between them for photographs together. Under the pergola, they stood close and looked towards their little one. A few frames bring a pink city façade into the background, while others keep the blue tile panels behind the family. These different views preserve both the setting and the small gestures of holding, looking towards and smiling at their baby.

The collection includes close family portraits as well as photographs of the parents together. Against the Portuguese tiles, they held hands, turned towards each other and paused for an embrace.
