There are places to eat nearby, too, which makes it tempting to stay a little longer. A beach visit followed by something tasty can be a much easier holiday plan than hopping between lots of sights. The Burj Al Arab is visible farther along the coast, but the main joy here is all that sea and space.
Our family tip: Agree on the exact meeting point before you leave. With children, a short walk from your drop-off point and a nearby toilet can matter more than finding the emptiest bit of sand. Check what is open if you’re coming very early.

Jumeirah Beach: That Famous Burj Al Arab View
Imagine looking back at your family photos and seeing that famous building behind you. There you all are, by the sea in Dubai! It’s a lovely way to remember a place you were so excited to visit. Even without a packed day of sightseeing, you’ve found somewhere that feels special.
Our family tip: “Jumeirah Beach” is a broad name, so ask for the exact beach and entrance. Sunset Beach, also called Umm Suqeim Beach, is a public spot with the Burj Al Arab view. Nearby hotel beaches have their own access rules. We’ll help confirm a suitable spot before your shoot.
Palm West Beach: Sea Views and a Meal Together
Later in the day, the changing light makes the sea and skyline lovely to look at. Photos by the water, a stroll and dinner nearby can all fit into one easy evening. A table with a sea view is rather nice for the grown-ups, too! The sunset colours will depend on the weather, so enjoy whatever the evening brings.
Our family tip: Choose the exact spot before making plans. Some beach clubs have age limits, and a restaurant or beach booking doesn’t automatically cover a professional photoshoot. We’ll check what works for your family, including access and any permissions needed.
A Time That Works for Your Family
Early mornings and the time before sunset often bring gentler light than the middle of the day. Mornings can be quieter, while evenings bring more people out for a walk by the sea. Neither means an empty beach, and Dubai can still be hot early or late, especially in summer.
Tell us when your children tend to feel at their best, where you’re staying and whether anyone needs a shorter walk. We can look at the light, weather and travel time together. It’s much nicer to arrive with time to enjoy the sea than to squeeze the beach between two other plans.
