Time together, with Prague all around

He was American, she was Czech, and they wanted photographs together simply to celebrate their love. A late afternoon photoshoot in Prague became time for the two of them, following a route from Legion Bridge to Shooter’s Island and the National Theatre. Soft light, river views and a few passing trams helped tell the story.

A walk across Legion Bridge

The session began at Legion Bridge, with the couple walking hand in hand beside the stone balustrade. In some photographs they shared an umbrella; in others they paused against the river view or sat close on the railing. Their dark outfits gave a consistent feel to the portraits, with the water, rooftops and soft afternoon sky behind them. Wide frames placed them in the city, while closer photographs caught smiles and a kiss beneath the umbrella.

Down to Shooter’s Island

Next came Shooter’s Island, beneath the bridge. The steps and trees changed the pace, bringing the couple closer to the water. They walked along the riverbank and paused for embraces, with the city visible across the Vltava. Autumn leaves scattered the ground, and one frame caught birds above the river. The photographs kept the mix of spontaneous movement and quiet closeness that ran through the afternoon.

A little everyday Prague by the theatre

The route finished around the National Theatre. Its arches, wooden doors and broad entrance steps gave the final portraits a more architectural setting. The couple sat together, walked beneath the arcade and held hands as red trams passed nearby. Those ordinary city details sat alongside the big views, making the series feel rooted in Prague: a relaxed afternoon together, turned into memories they could keep.
