A love story in their own style

This young Indian couple wanted photographs that felt like them: casual clothes, plenty of movement and the freedom to laugh, kiss and be themselves. For their couple shoot in Prague, we headed to the National Theatre, where grand arches and beautiful old stonework made a striking setting for their modern style. Jeans and relaxed layers brought their personalities into every frame, while the city supplied the scenery.

Casual moments, grand surroundings

Around the theatre, we made space for the little moments as well as the architecture. They sat together on the stone ledges, held hands on the steps and walked past the tall wooden doors. Sometimes the building filled the frame; sometimes all that mattered was a smile or an embrace.

The photographs have an easy, playful rhythm. A glance through a reflective window sits alongside a wide view of the classical facade. Their casual outfits kept the collection feeling personal, even with such an impressive backdrop.

A very Prague kind of moment

Then a tram passed at just the right moment. Its red and cream colours added another piece of Prague to the shoot, with the couple framed between the carriages and the theatre behind them.

We also stepped back for views along the pavement and closer for kisses beside the tram. Those changes of perspective gave the collection variety while keeping their connection at the centre.

From a Prague memory to wedding invitations

There was a lovely next chapter to these photographs. The couple later married and used images from their shoot for their wedding invitations in India. A collection made during their time together in Prague became part of how they shared their wedding with loved ones.

The photographs held onto the same spirit throughout: relaxed, affectionate and full of their own style.
