A greener side of their Athens photographs

This couple’s National Garden gallery is full of green: tall palms, broad trees, leafy paths and the little pond. Her blue-and-white patterned dress and his pale striped shirt fitted right into the setting. For an Athens photoshoot with a garden feel, there was plenty here to bring into their photographs together.

Palms, paths and a place for two

We photographed the couple beneath the palms and beside the garden’s neat greenery, mixing portraits with more of the setting in view. The pattern of her dress adds a lovely detail against the leaves, while the pale paths keep the photographs feeling bright. Wooden benches brought another feel to the set: a simple place for the couple to sit together, with the trees filling the background.

A little bridge over the pond

The wooden bridge gave the gallery one of its most distinctive backdrops. The reflections, green water and surrounding trees make these pictures feel quite different from the palm-lined paths. We used both a wider view across the pond and closer portraits on the bridge, keeping the couple connected to the scene around them. There is room for the garden to be part of the memory without losing sight of the two people in it.

Small corners with their own character

A leafy garden arch, old stone fragments and the pale balustrade added yet more variety. We paired the wider photographs with closer embraces and smiling portraits, letting the setting shift around the couple. A few black-and-white frames sit among the blue, white and green. Together, the pictures preserve a gentler-looking side of Athens: time beneath the trees, familiar garden details and the couple sharing it all.
