Six months since the dance floor

These two met while dancing on a night out, just six months before their shoot. Music and dancing were already part of their story, and they wanted photographs that felt natural, playful and true to them. Their six-month anniversary was a lovely reason to make memories together in an Athens photoshoot, with pictures to look back on and share with family and friends.

An Athens setting that fitted them

They wanted somewhere unmistakably Athens, with a different backdrop from the Acropolis. We chose Zappeion for its classical columns, warm colours and beautiful architectural lines. We met in the morning, when it was still calm and the light was soft. Their pale outfits looked lovely against the marble, leaving room for their personalities to come through in the photographs.

A little of their dancing energy

His African roots and her South American background brought different cultures and stories into their relationship, while their love of music was something they shared. We kept the shoot light, making photographs among the red walls and patterned floor and leaving room for movement. A twirl or a little dance felt right for a couple whose story had started that way.

A morning to remember together

There were quieter portraits too, beside the trees, on the marble steps and against Zappeion’s warm yellow walls. Those different corners gave the gallery variety while keeping the attention on the two of them.

The photographs bring together their playful energy and the beginning of their relationship: a relaxed morning in Athens, celebrating six months together and a story still unfolding.
