A Little Time Together in Dubai

A morning by the sea, a walk through flower hearts, an evening watching the city lights. Dubai has so many lovely ways to spend time together, and each one brings something different to your holiday photos.

Perhaps you can already picture the two of you among the dunes. Or perhaps a stroll followed by dinner sounds much more like your kind of date. Here are five places to fall for, with a little help choosing the one that suits your trip.

1. The Desert: A Little Adventure for Two

When the tall buildings give way to wide dunes, Dubai feels like a different trip. There are soft curves in the sand, big open skies and warm colours that change with the light. For couples who love being out in nature, this can be such a special part of the holiday.

The outing is part of the fun. You leave the city for a while and spend time in a place that looks nothing like the streets around your hotel. Imagine having photos of the two of you with all that sand and sky around you. They could be a lovely reminder of the day you went exploring together.

Choose the exact spot and time with us before making travel plans. Access, heat and the amount of walking vary, so a little planning helps you enjoy being out there. Our Dubai desert guide for couples helps with the next little details.

2. The Beach: A Day That Feels Like a Holiday

Oh, a bit of sea air is hard to beat. The water, the wide sky and the little waves reaching the sand give beach photos such an easy, happy feel. It is a lovely choice if your favourite holiday moments are the ones with no big plans beyond enjoying being there together.

Sunset Beach, also called Umm Suqeim Beach, has that much-loved view of the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab. Kite Beach brings a lively beach-day feel, while JBR has tall buildings close to the shore. Palm West Beach adds restaurants and a waterfront walk, which can make the outing feel like a date that carries on after the photos.

Each beach has its own access and photography rules, and even a hotel beach can have other guests around. Our Dubai beach photoshoot guide helps you choose the stretch of sand you would most enjoy.

3. Miracle Garden: Flowers, Hearts and a Little Magic

Flower hearts, a castle covered in blooms and even an enormous plane covered in flowers. Miracle Garden has the sort of sights that make you turn to each other and say, “Oh, look at that!” There is plenty to discover as you wander, with bright colours all around.

It is a sweet choice for couples who love a little fun in their holiday photos. The flower-filled paths and huge displays make the visit feel like an outing in its own right. You might arrive excited about the heart arches and leave with another favourite altogether.

The garden opens for part of the year, so check your travel dates. For a professional photoshoot, you need permission from garden management in advance. An ordinary entry ticket does not cover that. Our Miracle Garden photoshoot guide explains the beautiful spots and the arrangements to make first.

4. Al Seef: Little Lanes Beside the Creek

Al Seef is a lovely place for a wander that keeps finding little reasons to pause. A wooden doorway, a wind tower above the roofs, then a glimpse of boats on the Creek. The warm-coloured buildings and narrow lanes bring a softer side of Dubai into view.

This is a modern area with buildings designed in the old style, beside the historic Al Fahidi neighbourhood. You get the pleasure of exploring little streets with cafés and the water close by. It suits a couple outing with room for a drink, a look around and a few happy detours.

Early morning can offer a gentler start before more visitors arrive, but Al Seef also has its own life later in the day. Choose the time for the atmosphere you enjoy. Our Old Dubai guide for couples has more ideas for little streets, Creek views and a lovely date around your photos.

5. Dubai Creek Harbour: An Evening with a View

Dubai Creek Harbour is one for the evenings when you want to stay out a little longer. Across the water, the city skyline rises around the Burj Khalifa. There is something rather lovely about seeing the whole view from here, with space to take it in as you walk along the waterfront.

Around sunset, the colours can change from warm daylight to the glow of the city after dark. The modern buildings, waterside paths and places to eat make it easy to imagine turning the photoshoot into an evening together. You might come for sunset and end up choosing somewhere for dinner because it feels too nice to leave just yet.

For both daylight and city lights, agree a session that includes time after sunset. The view depends on the weather, and the waterside walk is shared with other visitors. Our Creek Harbour photoshoot guide explores the waterfront, white arches and places to enjoy the view.

Which Place Makes You Smile?

Start with the setting you are most excited to see. A place you both love gives the outing its own meaning, whether that is a first desert visit or a beach you keep going back to during your holiday.

Then think about the rest of the day. A beach near your hotel might fit around a lazy breakfast. Al Seef could be part of exploring Old Dubai, while Creek Harbour lends itself to an evening out. The desert needs its own travel time, and Miracle Garden needs the opening dates and shoot approval checked first. There is no prize for fitting the most places into one session.

Let’s Make the Plan Feel Easy

Tell us which place has caught your eye, your travel dates and where you are staying. We can help with the setting and timing, and explain any access arrangements before you book. The cost depends on the session and any travel, entry or location charges, so compare what is included in the full quote.

The time of day should suit the place and you both. If you are deciding between an early outing and an evening one, our Dubai sunrise or sunset guide helps you picture the difference. Leave some room to enjoy the day around your photos, too. That is part of what makes them lovely to look back on.
