From the dance floor to Budapest

These two first met through dance, and that lovely spark was still very much part of their story. They booked a couple photoshoot in Budapest to capture their love and make some beautiful memories together. We explored the romantic surroundings of Vajdahunyad Castle and the impressive Heroes’ Square, with plenty of room for natural photographs and a little of the playfulness that brought them together.

Romantic corners of Vajdahunyad Castle

Vajdahunyad Castle gave us such a beautiful mix of backdrops. We made photographs beneath the richly carved doorway, beside the ornate palace façade and along the stone balustrades overlooking the water. There is so much detail here, from the arches to the pointed rooftops, and it looked lovely around them. We kept a mix of wider views that showed off the castle and closer portraits that made space for their connection.

Floral colours, leafy paths and a little dancing

Her floral dress and his pale blue shirt looked beautiful against the greenery and warm stone, with the burgundy in his trousers picking up the deeper colours of the print. We spent time on the leafy paths and beside the water, where the castle and its reflection made a lovely backdrop. Their dance-floor beginnings found their way into the shoot too, with a playful turn among the romantic portraits. The colour and black-and-white photographs give this part of their gallery a lovely variety.

A grand backdrop at Heroes’ Square

Heroes’ Square brought a different feel to the collection. Its tall columns, bronze statues and patterned paving gave us plenty of space for photographs that showed the two of them in the heart of this impressive setting. Alongside the quieter castle surroundings, it made a lovely contrast. From the dance floor to Budapest, this was another little chapter in their love story, with a collection of photographs to look back on together.
