An old-school setting for a modern couple

Both 19, this couple wanted photographs with a modern, slightly alternative feel. They were drawn to the old-school Budapest metro: its colours, character and everyday city atmosphere offered a setting that suited their personalities. Their couple photoshoot in Budapest brought that idea to life, mixing moments inside the metro with playful photographs on the surrounding streets.

The city above, the metro below

The streets added their own energy to the collection. Hand in hand beside the yellow entrance railings, crossing the road together and sharing a kiss beneath curved city façades, the couple made the setting feel personal. Down in the station, cream tiles, wooden panelling and dark metal columns created a different mood. Wide photographs showed the character of the platform, while closer portraits kept the connection between them at the centre.

Yellow trains and moments in motion

A passing yellow train gave us one of the most distinctive frames: the couple holding each other close while the carriage blurred behind them. Inside the metro, patterned seats, yellow handrails and the carriage windows became part of the photographs. A quiet moment seated together, a kiss by the window and a portrait framed through the open doors each brought another side of the same setting into view.

A city story in their own style

Their dark jackets and casual styling fitted the urban surroundings, tying the street and metro photographs together. Tilted compositions brought a playful edge to the collection, alongside closer portraits and black-and-white frames. The location was part of what they wanted to express. Choosing somewhere they found cool and distinctive gave this couple a set of Budapest memories with a style of their own.
