An engagement and a walk through Ciutadella

We headed to Ciutadella Park with this Spanish couple to celebrate their engagement. A walk through the gardens, a stop beside the fountain and photographs up on the terraces made for a lovely engagement photoshoot in Barcelona. The park gave us a beautiful mix of greenery and architecture, with the two of them at the heart of it all.

From the fountain to the terraces

Down by the fountain pool, we had the water and the grand monument as our backdrop. Up on the terraces, the stone arches gave the photographs a completely different feel. We made the most of both, mixing wider views of this beautiful part of Ciutadella with closer portraits of the couple. A walk around the fountain and its terraces gave us so much variety, all within the same lovely setting.

Outfits that fitted right in

Her white dress and his light blazer looked beautiful against the park’s deep greens and warm stone. The blue of his trousers added a little colour too. We loved how it all came together: dressed up for their engagement photographs, with a soft, easy feel that suited the gardens. The ivy-framed arches and palm-lined terraces worked especially well with those light tones, giving the gallery a lovely, consistent look.

Alongside the colour photographs, a few black-and-white favourites give the gallery a different feel.
