Prague Memories for Family Back in Egypt

A little piece of their life in Prague

This family was originally from Egypt and had been living in Prague for several years with their children, a twin boy and girl. With the rest of their family still back in Egypt, they wanted lovely photographs they could send home: a glimpse of their life together in the city they now called home. Their family photoshoot in Prague took us to Kampa and Charles Bridge. The weather had other plans, but even a very rainy day left room for some beautiful family moments.

Umbrellas out in Kampa

We started in the Kampa area with umbrellas, wet cobblestones and colourful houses behind the family. The rain was heavy, so the space beneath Charles Bridge became an important part of the shoot.

A bench against the stonework of the bridge gave us a sheltered setting for portraits. With the family together, we could capture everyone in one frame before making a few smaller combinations. The twins had their own moment side by side, with the old stone wall keeping the background simple.

Small moments, worth keeping

Alongside the photographs of all four of them, we made time for mother and daughter, father and son, and a few portraits of the parents together. Those different combinations made the collection feel personal, with little connections inside the bigger family picture.

Eventually, the rain became too intense to continue, and we had to end the session halfway through. Even with the shorter shoot, we came away with lovely photographs, and the family was delighted with the memories they could share back home.

Something to share across the distance

These photographs held the parts of their Prague life they wanted their loved ones to see: their children, their closeness and a familiar city setting. A rainy day became a family memory of its own, ready to travel from Prague to Egypt.
